The Rock Foundation, Budapest, Hungary have agreed to provide annual grants for a number of participants
who are ordinarily resident in Hungary to join four of the Executive Programmes at the Blavatnik School of
Government, University of Oxford, UK.
The grants will be known as the 'The Rock Foundation Grant’ and each award will be for one specific
executive
programme covering all costs and fees. Following their time on the executive programme, the
participants
will become Blavatnik School executive alumni and benefit from being part of the School network.
The aim of the scheme is to attract and support participants from Hungary, via a non-political process, to
pursue executive education in governance and public policy at Oxford University.
The Foundation calls for applicants to apply and if successful, participate in the executive programs of the
Blavatnik School. The grant covers all expenses, including tuition, travel, meals and accommodation during
the program. Available intensive executive programs for the Spring of 2024.

Awards will be made following a two-part selection process to eligible candidates. The prospective
applicants
should provide a current CV in .pdf format, including photo and contact details.
A Personal Statement of no more than 500 words is required, answering the following question: ‘How do you
anticipate the course will assist you in your professional responsibilities, short or medium
term?'

with a subject field “Grant Application” by the 29th of February, 2024 deadline is extended until the
15th of March, 2024.
The Foundation will contact the applicants, if selected, for a 30 minutes online interview. The Foundation will administer a short-list of the applicants and notify them about the results by the 15th of March. Those who were successful in the first round will be able to proceed to the next stage and directly contact the Blavatnik School. Offers of admission to a course are made by the Blavatnik School following assessment of individual’s applications in relation to the eligibility criteria set out. Once a short-listed applicant has received an offer of admission to an eligible course from the Blavatnik School, those successful in securing a Rock Foundation Grant will be notified by the Foundation no less than six weeks before the programme start. The Foundation will make arrangements of the travel and accommodations directly with the applicants.
